Join us for Sneak Peek Weeks - your twice a year chance to come see what we’re all about in a Preview Class, before diving into our PROGRESS performance program!
These low-key, joy-packed classes are your chance to move your body, learn a few moves, meet new friends, and get a feeling for what it’s like to be part of Luminesque.
Preview Classes are by donation to local charities and our Scholarship programs, and class capacities are deliberately limited to create a personalized experience.

EVERYONE WELCOME
from total beginner to professional dancers. Please note the class is taught at a beginner level, but is still a valuable chance for experienced dancers to try us out and learn more about our more Intermediate/Advanced courses. If you’re specifically looking for an Intermediate/Advanced level assessment, book a Placement Class.
what to bring
HEELS NOT REQUIRED (bare feet, socks, or clean runners are all totally fine)!
Dress in whatever makes you feel free to move. Kneepads are not necessary, but you’re welcome to bring them if you wish. Some people feel more confident when they dress to impress, but that is completely not necessary. Just come as you are!
We recommend bringing a full water bottle and a notebook (for notes/reflections).
Ultimately though, all that matters is you come as you are with an intention to be kind to yourself as you try something new.

who previews are for
MADE FOR NEW TO LUMI STUDENTS
Our Preview Classes are specifically designed for people new to Luminesque (whether or not they’re new to Heels dance), and balance tons of fun with a low pressure pace. They’re a chance to move your body, learn a couple moves, try a beginner piece of choreography, and meet some new friends. Preview Class capacities are limited to create a personalized experience, so book as soon as you can to save your spot.
NOTE FOR RETURNING DANCERS
If you’re coming back after a while away from Luminesque, you’re totally welcome to come to a Preview to get reconnected with the vibe, curriculum, and focus for the year.
If you’ve taken Progress recently, please refrain from attending to leave space for new students, unless you’re being a support buddy for a NewToLumi friend! If you’re a RETURNING student feeling ready to try a new level, sign up for PLACEMENT.
