PLUS paid vacation, and the opportunity to add performance-based bonuses, employee benefits, and company retreats after probation. Subsidized therapy is available.
Location: Remote-first (Based in or able to travel to Vancouver or Victoria, BC, an asset), with the rest of the team joining from the unceded territory of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish), and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations"; as well as the traditional territory of the (lək̓ʷəŋən) Lekwungen speaking Peoples, known as the Songhees and Esquimalt Nations, and the W̱SÁNEĆ peoples.
THE ROLE
As our Project Manager, you’ll be the operational heartbeat and executive engine of our organization. You'll work directly with the executive team to translate creative vision into structured action - bringing clarity to chaos, streamlining systems, and stewarding the execution of high-impact projects across our four brands: Luminesque, Glow Studios, The Lovers Productions & Glow Giver Academy. This role is essential to scaling our operations while maintaining an exceptional team and client experience.
You’ll thrive if you’re deeply organized, solutions-oriented, and skilled at balancing structure with humanity. If you get a thrill from Gantt charts, herding cats managing artists, and seeing creative chaos turn into smooth execution - this is your moment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Project Management & Systems
Build and maintain task management systems to keep projects organized, on time, and on budget
Implement workflows and SOPs that support our growth while reducing team overwhelm
Manage calendars, timelines, and critical paths for both day-to-day operations and long-term initiatives
Champion digital tools like G Suite, Momence, Notion (or whichever PM software you prefer), WhatsApp, and Kajabi to streamline internal communication
Team Coordination
Collaborate with department leads to align team priorities and delegate tasks efficiently
Keep the team accountable to project milestones and team goals, with compassion and clarity
Identify gaps in team efficiency, and co-create staffing or restructuring plans with leadership
Cultivate a positive, human-first remote work culture with clear boundaries and healthy communication
Operations Optimization
Standardize and document internal processes, resources, and onboarding systems
Lead efforts to organize our internal files and resources into a usable structure
Track performance metrics and report insights to support executive decision-making
Support cross-departmental initiatives and ensure smooth day-to-day operations
Strategic Scaling
Work closely with the CEO and Executive Team to turn creative and financial visions into roadmaps
Help our organization transition into scalable models (licensee/online education)
Use discernment to prioritize actions that will have the greatest impact across the company
Regularly audit systems and suggest innovations that will support sustainable growth
YOU’LL LOVE THIS ROLE IF YOU…
Are borderline obsessively organized and love managing multiple timelines, systems, and teams at once
Love planning, systems, and high-level thinking - but don’t hesitate to jump in to fix a problem yourself, when needed
Balance humans-first leadership with direct, “radical candor” communication
Are a natural problem-solver who thrives in creative and ever-changing environments
Have experience in online education, productions, events, or creative team settings
Get excited about digital tools, project management platforms, and optimizing messy systems
Thrive when motivating diverse, remote, often neurodivergent teams with kindness and clarity
Align with our values of empowerment, equity, and collective liberation
Please note that to maintain healthy boundaries and support role clarity, the person in this role cannot dance in any progressive Luminesque program or teach at Luminesque for the duration of their employment.
GROWTH + SUPPORT
This role is designed to grow with you. With strong performance, you’ll have a clear path towards an Operations Executive role, supported by coaching and mentorship, as we scale.
YOUR FIRST 90 DAYS
Onboard our team into using a project management system that works across departments
Establish a Google Drive structure everyone actually uses, and rally the team to clean house
Audit our current systems and begin creating manuals and onboarding materials
Identify team and system inefficiencies, and collaborate on a roadmap for improvement
Be able to speak to each of our brands’ core functions and identify opportunities to optimize, scale, and support
