I started this class a year and a half ago for fun. I saw my friend on stage and thought she was so brave and wished I could do that. She convinced me I could, so I started in New to Lumi with another girlfriend. After the first term, I was hooked.

As a 46-year-old Mom of 4 with teenagers, I knew I HAD to make time for myself. I never realized HOW badly I needed this in my life until I started my 2nd term. These classes grounded me, helped me take time for myself, and reminded me that we sometimes forget how important that is.

My niece, who is 22 and struggles with anxiety saw my 2nd show and had that same epiphany: "My aunt is so brave. I wish I could do that." I told her she could. She has now signed up for her 1st term! I am so proud. Thank you Lumi! You are more than a dance class. You are changing lives.
